This is from Bellator not UFC but I didn't know where to post it.

I'm so goddamn happy that Joe Warren got obliterated by Pat Curran. I can't stand Warren. The dude talks massive amounts of shit and is so boring. Every fight he just holds dudes down and at some point he gets rocked, but goes on to finish his TD anyways. I was so happy when he tried to win the 135 Bellator belt and got demolished by Alexis Villa in the first round. This one was crazy though. It was 2 pretty boring round of Warren struggling to take down Curran, eventually succeeding, and then Curran just getting back up, over and over for the most part. then in round 3 Curran intercepts a TD shot with a brutal knee and just works Warren against the cage for like a minute. The ref let it go way too long. Warren is turning his head as much as possible with his hands out straight just easting shot after shot. The only reason he stayed up was the cage.

This TUF Live is interesting. One thing I will say though is that James Vick has gotten pretty lucky 2 fights in a row now. His entry fight was way to close to put him in the house IMO. Then in his first fight he is clearly losing the first and just happens to catch Cruickshank. Like he was definitely throwing a body kick and Cruickshank shot a TD right into his knee.

Also I'm actually kind of upset that they're doing Marcello vs Lawrence so early. They are 2 of the most interesting fighters from what I've seen.

So I was watching a stream for a Brazilian MMA promotion. Patrick Cote (former UFC fighter) absolutely blasted Gustavo Machado. Like 13 punches straight to Machado's dome all connecting pretty cleanly then Machado kind of wakes up and is all "What the fuck, why did you stop the fight?" Fucking 13 undefended shots and you lost consciousness, that's why dipshit.

Overeem tested positive for elevated testosterone levels. Apparently his T/E ratio was (at least) 10:1. Normal is 1:1 however the NSAC will allow up to 6:1. This has fueled some pretty serious debate on the internet. I'm going to save my judgement until more details come out. I'm hoping Overeem will take a Carbon Isotope Ratio test. Apparently this test is used to determine whether the testosterone is natural or synthetic. That way we know for certain either way.

Also I wonder how they determine what levels is acceptable. Athletes frequently have higher than 1:1 ratios but how did they settle on 6:1 being the limit for "natural" and can they prove that it is impossible for 10:1 to be natural.

I forgot that today's card was in Sweden so I slept through most of the prelims. Shit.

4/12 damn.

I love all the Jones haters on Sherdog. It does not matter what he does, they find a way to criticize him. He just made Rashad Evans look like a joke and they are bitching that he didn't finish. Shut up.

He got slightly hurt like 3 times in 5 rounds and he rocked Rashad at least once in every single round except for #1. Also 2 of those judges are idiots. That was a clear 50-45.

I dont get all the hate for Jones honestly...the guy is pretty humble and his skills are out of this world, he deserves accolades dammit!

I love how dumb the haters are. They constantly claim that he is arrogant and cocky and they were always saying shit like "Rashad's going to knock his cocky ass out" and shit. Have any of these people ever watched a Rashad fight. Dude is cocky as fuck. All these over the top shoulder shrugs and the shits where he kissed his hand and grabbed his dick right in the middle of the Forrest fight. Even in this fight he did that shit where he did something then grabbed his own ass. What has Jones ever done to be labelled cocky other than being confidant in himself?

Like 2 of Jones' last 3 fights were against Rampage and Rashad who I would argue are the "most cocky" fighters in the division.

6/12. Not that great but not terrible.
Unfortunately I didn't get to see all the fights because my DVR screwed up. I saw most of the main card though.
I was falling asleep during Jones and Evans. It was decent enough but I would never rewatch it, not enough action.

I knew Jones would win though. I had no doubt in my mind that he was the better fighter.
Pumped for the big heavyweight PPV in May.

And it sounds like Dan Henderson is getting the next shot at Jones. That will be awesome.

The only hope Rashad had was catching him with a random bomb or taking him down. He barely even tried to take Jones down. He shot for like 2-4 TDs and landed 0. I remember one looking alright but the other ones just looked weak.

Damn some of these picks are hard.

Nate Diaz (VERY hard pick)
Johny Hendricks (also hard, I could see it being like Kos vs Pierce, which I firmly believe Pierce won, either one guy will wind up having a clear wrestling advantage or it will turn into a standing brawl)
Rousimar Palhares
Pat Barry

Tony Ferguson
John Dodson (this is tricky cause I don't know too much about either but both looked great in the fights I have seen.)
John Hathaway
John Lineker
John Cholish
Pablo Garza

Nick Denis
Mike Massenzio

edit: Damn I just realized I picked 4 John's to win in a row. If that actually happens I think it's a first in the UFC.

Damn UFC 146 has been such a clusterfuck and there is still more than 3 weeks before it happens. So Many changes.

We went from:

JDS vs Overeem
Velasquez vs Mir
Roy Nelson vs Bigfoot Silva
Hunt vs Struve
Gonzaga vs Del Rosario

Then Overeem popped positive and it became:

JDS vs Mir
Velasquez vs Bigfoor
Nelson vs Gonzaga
Del Rosario vs Miocic
Hunt vs Struve (the only intact fight)

Now Gonzaga is hurt and Nelson is fighting Dave Herman.

Also for the Undercard Evan Dunham was supposed to fight Edson Barboza but Dunham got hurt so now Barboza is going to face former WEC lightweight champion Jamie Varner (who did not come over in the merger).

I think the main reason I settled on Diaz was because we get a new match up for the title if he wins. He has never fought Frankie or Bendo. Even though Miller does not get a title shot if he wins this we have already seen him fight both of the possible champions (although the Frankie fight was ages ago and some consider it a robbery).

This crowd is fucking terrible. This fight (Castillo vs Cholish) isn't even boring and there is literally constant booing. That whole round the only time there was not booing was for 3 seconds after a slam and 3 seconds after a few solid punches. They are already booing before the fighters even got to the middle of the cage in the 3rd.
