we played in the north american championships this weekend. This is the first year i put a team together and entered it. Mark who sponsors our softball team sponsored us. There is 4 divisions A B C and Novice. Going into it we thought we would be C or Novice. We ended up the 2nd seed in the novice and made it all they way to the finals and lost to the 5th seed. But pretty awesome b/c its the farthest i ever got in a tournment.

We played in a Mens Novice tournament this weekend up at the Dek where we play every week. There was one really good team there that was border line novice but since it was only 6 teams they couldnt really tell them no. We played them first and lost 5-3 and then played a team from DC and won 5-1. We ended up being the 4th seed and played the DC team again and won 2-1. The we had to play the 1 seed who was the guy who usually puts teams together for us and we play with him a lot. We went into OT against them and we scored with 6 seconds left into the OT. So two novice tournaments in a row we made it to the finals.

The game after us got out of control. A huge fight broke out and one dude ended up breaking his jaw and losing some teeth. It was insane.

We ended up playing the team who was the best them there and they beat us good 4-1. So another 2nd place finish for Malco hockey but at least were better then the softball team hahaha.
