So I've often been told that toon boom is superior to flash. I'm not speaking of how it's interface works, but more of the program actually working. My animation process is usually flash > after effects> flash> and exporting to pro res from after effects to finalize. Flash straight up just doesn't work, I backup a lot so I can get my files back in order and reverse the damage, but a lot of the time it just glitches in ways that can't be fixed. I'm sure anyone who's used the piece of shit knows what i'm talking about, I've been using masks to rotoscope a video for someone and flash refuses to stop glitching out.
So my question is has anyone experimented with toon boom? and is it as streamlined to other video and effects programs the same way flash is? (With flash the only way I know how to get it into AE is to export as images, exporting flash movies is garbage). Also I don't use any effects in flash, so if toonboom doesn't have them then that's not a loss.
