Anyone else here have experience using the Cintiq 12WX?

So this is the first time I'm really trying to draw/paint in Photoshop with this thing and the pressure sensitivity blows right now. When I touch the pen to the screen and begin to draw, Photoshop ignores all of the sensitivity shit and just draws as if you were using a mouse. I discovered that if I double tap quickly, Photoshop will magically recognize the pressure settings and it'll work. I REFUSE to sit here and fucking trick my brain into double tapping NON FUCKING STOP in order for this to work.

What fucking garbage. I've searched forums and shit and no one else seems to have this issue... or rather I can't find anyone with this issue. WHY ME?!

Hahaha, that pic cracks me up every time.

I had heard of this problem, but since I still haven't made the jump to the Cintiq I've not experienced it.

Flash is such a piece of shit. I don't know where they hid the scale by percentage area in CS4. I just want to scale these stupid symbols by a certain percentage and I can't find it!!! IM GOING NUTS.

I hate the computer.

Fucking found it. I think I've spent an hour and half tonight just looking for where Adobe moved simple, common features.

Sometimes, but not all the time, when I'm clicking on a symbol in Flash using my pen, it acts as if I double clicked it. And I'm definitely not double clicking it. CURSE YOU, WACOM.

Dammit, my 12wx is on the fritz. The pen isn't responding at all. It's all hooked up properly but when I try to move the pen around the mouse stays in place... Phil or Frank have you had this issue?

This thread just produces 'King of Threads' situations.

ARRGH, I'm moving the pen but the piece of crap cursor isn't moving and--oh wait, it wasn't plugged in.

Hey Dusk, aside from that brief problem, how do you feel about the 12wx? I'm just wondering if you've been having the same overall experience as Phil...I'm still (constantly) on the verge of buying one. Though at this point I might just wait until the 2nd generation comes out, since the 12wx has been out a few years...

Yeah I still get the issue sometimes too. I have to go into the Wacom Tablet Pref Utility program and then for some reason it magically works.

Ahahaha indeed Dante.

I love mine Mcklay, that was the first "problem" I'd ever had with it, but it was just because my driver was outdated. [facepalm]
It's been 1000x more fun to draw than with my old intuos, and the only issue it has with the screen is when you get to the corners it doesn't stay perfectly on the pen. [but when are you really going to draw ALL the way to the corner....exactly]
