whether through subscription or picking them up in stores every now and then, what magazines do you get?

I've had a sub to Maxim for about 4 years now. My girlfriend got it for me as a Christmas present and now every year she renews it as an ongoing gift. I read through it pretty quick since there's only a few articles that are actually interesting. Usually its movies or music or something. Then I just check out the pics.

I have a free year sub to EGM which started my reading on the toilet. I never read on the toilet until I got this magazine. Usually I blow through it because I dont care about games that much. I just got it because it was free. haha

And I have a free 6 month sub to Moviemaker Magazine. Its pretty good. It has some cool interviews and info. A lot of it is directed towards people trying to be part of the industry though. I should give them to my brother after I finish with them. This also got added to my toilet literature.

I get the free EGM, thats it for magazines.

I'm starting to get Construction magazines to my house next month. The only thing I pay a subscription for though is the Daily News, best damn sports page in the lands.

EGM and Game Informer. Gaming magazines suck though, because any good information gets scanned and put online weeks before I get my copy. I still read em though.

I used to be subscribed to OXM but now I only buy it if I see a copy with a good review or cover story and sometimes I just read it in Chapters and don't buy it.

From their point of view you're the worst person in the world.

I have a few Fortunes but not subscription. I find it hard to sit down and read magazines.

I was over my parents' house last night and my mom got the new Rolling Stone from one of the people she works for. So she gave it to me. Its the May 2008 issue and its the Best in Rock for 2008. I havent read a Rolling Stone since I was in high school and was really into music. I'll add it to the toilet collection.

I don't get anything. My free EGMs never came because they must have realized I was getting EGM free for the last 3 years. I almost kind of want to renew Nintendo Power, which kind of got good again. Time and those magazines are too sophisticated for me.

I mean that I'll just flip to the one part I want to see read it and put it back. Why would I spend $12 on a magazine for one article when I can look at it for free in the store or find a similar story online.

Car and Driver. I've had the subscription for ten years, but I really don't care about cars anymore. I'd rather have a subscription to Popular Mechanics or Popular Science.
