Its been pretty crazy and sleep is limited. My wife went into labor at 1am sunday night. Contractions started right away at 5 mins apart. Checked in to hospital at 4am. She was in real bad pain until the epidural at 9am. Then it was like magic and she couldn't feel a thing. Started pushing a little before 1. Only about 40 mins and it was all over. I looked into the eye of the beast and it stared right back. Wild man, wild.

Jack Harrison Manfre
Born 1:28pm on 7-16-12. 7lbs 13oz. 19.5 inches.

They ain't kidding with the whole "no sleep" thing when you have kids. Lawdy lawd.

Actually since we've been home from the hospital we got a 5 hour night, 2 hour and then 6 hour last night.
But of course thats not straight through the night. Feedings every 2-3 hours and then back to sleep for an hour or two.
Thursday night was bad. He was just not a happy camper and kept us up all night.
Mandy has gotten less sleep than what I posted above because she's breastfeeding. Basically I wake up when she starts feeding just to see if she needs help then I pass back out. Sometimes I'll go change him afterwards but she does everything sometimes. She's probably only gotten an average of 3 hours every night. But she naps during the day and I don't so it evens out in the end.

Fuckin Babies. How do they work?

Yeah, you're wife is going to be a zombie for pretty much the next months. Don't worry, after about 4 months, you can start sleep training him and he'll sleep more through the night.

Awesome stuff Manf.

My son is now 2 months old as of today. We weighed him at a grocery store scale yesterday (video to come soon on facebook), said he was almost 14 lbs.

Baby T.J. doubled in size just like that!

It helps being on summer vacation right now. A lot of family is helping out as well. In a few weeks though, it'll be just us for many months again.

Take advantage of the family Manf. Not having them around can really suck.

How old is she now? I can't believe she's already going to day care. You gotta do what you gotta do.
