Its the final countdown!! 36 weeks now. She's full term so the doctor said it would be normal to have the baby any day within the next month or so.
We have everything ready. Just counting down the days until closer to the due date, July 11th. Hopefully it happens before then but who knows. My cousin is pregnant also and she talks to my wife every day about it. She's already a week past her due date. So Mandy is now just assuming she's going to go late too.

The last month has been pretty hard because Mandy got severe leg pain. The baby is pushing on a nerve and there's really nothing she can do. Everything is OK so she just has to deal with it. She can barely move around sometimes.
So she's waddling combined with a limp and getting sick of people asking if she's ok. This is her last week of work and then she goes on maternity leave until November. It can't come soon enough because every day is a struggle now and she should just be resting on the couch or in bed.

Starting June 24th I'm going no alcohol until the baby is born. Gonna be tough especially if she goes past 4th of July. I'll just eat to make up for not drinking. haha

Dude, you have it easy man. You don't have to do jack shit. Sucks she's in pain. If she wants to deliver earlier, I suggest going on walks. Walking helps shift the baby down to the eject position. It might even help with the nerve thing if the baby shifts positions and puts less pressure on the nerve. Emily was walking around a good deal and we went strolling around a bit before she gave birth. She was 4 days early.

Dude, I know compared to having a human come out of me I have it easy. I'm not an idiot. She's freaking out about it. Has dreams about it like every night now.
I can't even complain about anything. I was sore after softball and when I said my ribs were hurting she just gave me a death stare. hahaha

The doc told her to stay off the leg if its bothering her so much. The baby is still moving around but just not off the spot that is hurting her. We were taking Hogan for walks and she was going to the gym and walking on the treadmill but she can't do either anymore. She's actually at the doctor right now and is going to ask again about the leg. She was told swimming might help but we have no pool. Its just a waiting game now. Bring it!

I'm definitely not in that this year. Kid or no kid. I'll either have a newborn at home or one could be popping out that day.

I can see the death stare Mandy gave you too. HAHAHA Oswald went about a year and a half without drinking anything. In the past few months he started to have a beer here and there and he said he didn't know how he did a whole year without it. What is crazy too is that he poured all his liquor out!

I think the longest I've gone without a beer is like a month here and there. I usually have on average a beer or two at least once every two weeks. Sometimes more. All depends.

If I didn't have so many family functions to go to I would have beer a heck of a lot less than I do. I used to stock my mini fridge with beer so I could have some when I worked or whatever, but I haven't done that in a long while. Both to save a few bucks here and there and because I was trying to be good as far as saving a few calories.

Yup, definitely a wild ride. I'll never forget the sound of the scissors going through the cord.

manf, yeah. i was "helping" deliver (holding one of amanda's legs in the air hah), and i had a clear view of what was going on. i saw the head come out and it was blue like a blueberry to the point where i was like WTF. then, i saw the doc got a little quiet and she like sprang into action, man. she became very methodical, pulled the cord out a bit and snipped it. it was actually kind of impressive because she kicked into doctor mode and all of her movements became these measured, precise, and quick actions.

amanda had zero idea this was happening btw, so mandy won't have a clue. mandy's brain is gonna be someplace else at that time hah

I had a different experience than you guys. I'll never forget the things I saw though, like Dem's belly button looking at me when they flipped up her belly.

I actually have pictures of Dem all opened up. I had no intentions of taking photos but when they were ripping out the girls they went "Quick Dad take a picture" and they forced me to take a pic of both girls. So yeah, I have some nasty photos. Those are private ones. Hahaha.

I actually didn't think you were allowed to do that. Guess I was wrong. Man, I don't want to see that.
