Chili is most definitely my most favorite thing to cook. I make it different everytime just to see what tastes good, different beans, meat, spices, sauces... My latest attempt was in south africa, and I used Ostrich meat. Muckin' delicious!

Thats the way I used to be, but my sister is a vegetarian so my mom made vegetarian chili one time and it was delicious.
Now I throw just about anything I can find in my chili and let it cook down for a couple hours. Mushrooms are surprisingly good in chili. Then I add the extra meat about 30 minutes before I serve it. The only problem is i need a bigger crock pot now.

I highly recommend unsweetened (or even semi-sweet, if you're daring) chocolate in chili. For realsies. It gives the sauce an awesome texture.

Hey Frank,

You know what's funny is that the day after I posted here for the first time in months, I saw your name on my boss's email list. I DID notice a guy named "Frank S." on the crew sheet for that episode, but I didn't really think anything of it. So when I saw your full name I did a double take. So yeah, I'm still there, hopefully will be for the next couple years, anyway.

Do you know if you're going to be doing more freelance for Soup? Things are gonna get crazy with other projects soon, so I assume they're going to need outside help left and right.
