Holy shit, Thor currently has a 91% on RT with 67 reviews. I'm pretty blown away by that. I was seriously expecting this one to get destroyed. This years Iron Man?

Yeah I'm really shocked by that one too. I really want to see it but I don't know if I'll have time.

This is the one movie that I was kind of hoping turned into the next Iron Man.
So hopefully the good reviews keep coming in even this weekend after the release. I'm with Nick though, not sure when I'll find time to see it.

Probably because it's another super hero movie about a super hero no one gives a shit about.

After seeing the trailer, I had no intention of seeing it. But if it's getting good reviews, I might check it out. I'm just pretty burnt out on super hero movies.

I just didn't think it looked that good.
It had that Clash of the Titans vibe when they were in Asgard. Then it had the "weird alien type guy trying to fit in on Earth" vibe in the Earth scenes.
Plus I never got into Thor even when I was into comic books. Some long blonde haired viking with a big hammer just didn't interest me.

Plus I know nothing about Thor villains to get me excited. But like I already said, I was the same way with Iron Man. Louie B talked me into going and it was radical.

Yeah I just realy didn't know much about it but I played those old marvel beat em ups and MVC3 and I was never impressed by the character.

Yeah, the only reason I had any interest in Iron Man was because I saw a few episodes of the cartoon back in the 90's and his Proton Canon super in Marvel Superheros was awesome.

Yeah I thought IM looked so bad. When people were telling me it was going to be good I refused to believe them.

If Iron Man 2 happened before Iron Man 1, I would have been right. That movie was the movie I thought IM1 was going to be.

i thought iron man would be good simply because RDJ was perfect for it. thor i know almost nothing about and hes such a fruity superhero.

Yeah, and his hammer is really wimpy looking. Thor is just a character that doesnt look like he'd translate into real people well. I'll probably see it with my pops though.
