Frank, you're so diligent!

Now, as far as tonight's topic(s) go(es).

Getting little cockteases before E3

Since both Phil and Steve kinda beat around this during the BAC this week, I thought I'd share some of my thoughts.

I think that it's good for some companies to let out the news about whatever hot thing they could be working on before E3, but only if it's not something HUGE that could take away from all the pumpin' up that happens during E3 week. Here's some reasons.

1. Often, the game companies will try to 1-up eachother during the big conferences, which could steal the limelight away from certain games or systems. So by offering up some goodness before the event, it prevents that from ever happening.

2. Sometimes, there is just soooo much stuff happening at E3, that games or companies need more time to showcase their goods. So why not do it the week before?

3. Face it, we all love teasers. Whether it's for movies, games, etc....we love em.

I'm only in agreement with this as long as it isn't a huge announcement. If it's a huge announcement, save it for the main event, not the pre-game show.
