aside from the cafepress stuff you sell, do you guys have any way to make money on this site, or is it just a fun side project? I don't see ads anywhere, but my proxy server blocks a lot of stuff.

we make no money on the shamoozal and have chosen to keep it ad free. we do it for the love of doing it, however i think we would someday like to see the site be able to sustain itself.

you could always get the google ads, those only make you money when people click on them, but they arent annoying and flashing.

we thought about google ads and its possible in the future we will have some sort of ads n the site. but for now im just trying to get the new manbot rolling

Off topic kinda.. but, will the Manbot series have any new characters? Don't think I'm getting tired of Manbot, cuz I'm not. Just wondering is all..

good question. i think its always going to remain focused on MB. of course there will always be side characters in each episode that causes trouble for him, but i don't foresee there being other main characters besides MB in that series.

Thanks for not taking it the wrong way. I just went back and watched Stomach Crunch again, you're definately right, it's all about the Manbot. A better way to have asked that question would have been, will there be recurring minor characters? Like that stupid kid we all know who always pops up in every scene, like that. It's always nice to see a minor familiar face.

i know what you mean. MB is a loner and doesn't make friends easily which is why i don't see there being many re-occurring characters as of yet. he's basically all id, and is completely unconcerned and unaware about the consequences of his actions.

however, this is not to say i'm ruling out the possibility of secondary characters, however as of right now, its not on my plate. but you never know where things will go as different ideas have a tendency to turn into other things.
