my wife had the same reaction when she walked in once and saw me playing. she thought it was a movie.

i think this one more than any of them really makes you work a room. you can't just hunker down behind some cover and pick off baddies as they walk in front of you. you have to punch a hole someplace in them and then keep moving. most of the areas are much larger now and accommodate this type of game play. you have to almost be constantly moving or they're just going to swarm you. like, they'll just walk around where you're hiding behind and just start shootin you. if its an armored guy with a shot gun you can forget it. eventually you kill everyone and can move forward.

These movies are freaking 3 hours long. Who's going to sit through and watch all that? And I thought MGS3 was just a really long movie.

MGS games edited into a movie would put these to shame.

To be fair, a lot of it is in game footage edited into the cut scenes. So it's not really 3 hours worth of cut scenes. Most of Uncharted's story is told in game.

That's why I didn't get into uncharted, I played it for 2 hours then just gave up. couldn't give a shit about the story and the gameplay didn't grab me. Also, coming off of beating FF13 kind of killed any motivation I had to play any story heavy games.

Dude, you crazy. Uncharted is not THAT story heavy. It's like a summer blockbuster, the focus is on spectacle and set pieces. Even though I was a bit burnt out on Uncharted 3, it's one of the few games where I wanted to keep playing because I just like seeing what happens next. Nate, Sully and Elena are awesome.

I spent like 45 minutes stealthing around killing people in a courtyard and it was bullshit, I'm in the minority but i hate that type of gameplay

If you're stealthing in Uncharted you're doing it wrong.

This is a wrong statement of wrongness.

I enjoy snapping a room full of unsuspecting necks in Uncharted.
