I'm just trying to approve of Nick's exercise of restraint while everyone else is shitting on him.

Hahaha that's definitely true. I've had some pretty epic mammoth/giant fights, they don't mess around.

This game does actually look pretty cool. Where is the eldergeek stream?

I wanted to do that crazy quest Steve did on the stream, and it ended up taking like 2 hours to make it to the city. So much stuff to find in this game. I don't doubt the 300 hours of gameplay quotes at all.

A 90 second video of Skyrim flying from one edge of the map to the other side. Amazing.

Even on my laptop, even on low settings, this game looks so good. I can't wait to get it over to my desktop.

The UI though, is a terrible console port. Can't wait til the modders get their hands on it.

Yeah, UI is one of the things that has really suffered horribly in the last 3-5 years due to everything needing to also work on a console. I really wish the developers would take the extra hour or three and make it modular so that you could simply plugin a different UI for most things and then either release how to make one with the game (and let the modders do it), or spend another few more hours and also release a different UI for the PC...

Punk ass dragon ran away before I could steal his soul.

Also, did an assassination mission for a kid trying to summon someone from the dark brotherhood. Afterwards a messenger on the road gave me a "mysterious note". It was a picture of a black handprint and the words "WE KNOW". Am I in trouble?

Actually he never even touched down. Just flew around and then over a mountain and gone. I was ready to kick some ass too.

Dargons are nbd brah.

Giants and fucking mammoths on the other hand, ouch.

On the UI issue: There was one really fucking sweet one for Oblivion, i think it was called Darnified? I don't remember, but it was what the PC ui should have looked like.

Darnified was really good, that guy also made ui improvements for both of the fallout games. Unfortunately, I think the problem goes deeper that messed up text. The menus are too reliant on the keyboard, also the mouse acceleration is ridiculous when navigating the menus.

Yeah I got punched in the asshole by a Giant, that was painful. This was just my first Dragon outside of the first one you encounter at Whiterun.

You can disable mouse acceleration in the ini file, idk if that is relevant to the menus though.

Worst thing about slayin' dargons: Dragon Scales and Dragon Bones weigh so fucking much.

This game is SUCH a blast. I basically spent my first 20 hours or so fucking around doing random side quests and discovering shit. I'm only now getting back to the main quest. I bought a house in the first small city you come to. Haven't bought a horse yet because i like running lol.

Dragon bone armor is so fucking awesome, but you need lvl100 smithing to craft it. I'll probably never get that!
