Man, Portal 2 for only $10. I should have held out...

Portal 2 scales pretty well (Source FTW) if you ran the HL2 games you should be fine.

Maybe I should do it then. I can run Source games fairly well. I just assumed its been upgraded a bunch since the old days.

They might have put in a few more shaders and filters but the engine is still the same. When fallenkell upgrades his GPU, you should just take his old one.

Mass Effect 2 for 5 bucks is also insanity.

I'm really debating.... I might roll the dice and hope for $5 during the Christmas sale

:D

The upgrade isn't happening until Nvidia and possibly AMD/ATI release their next cards. What I have currently is an EVGA 896-P3-1267-AR.

And yeah, I need to look at those games on sale. The latest humble indy bundle is out as well, and it is an Introversion pack, which I know I have to buy. Uplink, DEFCON, Darwinia, Multiwinia and a few others. If you have never played any of them Uplink alone is more than worth it (heck, I think I have purchased that game 2 times already, first when it originally came out, and then again a couple years later when I couldn't get my install disk to work).

I can't believe you'd get DNF and not Portal 2. Save your money, don't get DNF. It's not that great.

Bought DNF, held off on Portal 2.

Does not compute.

Portal 2 is a daily deal, doubt it will go below the current price at any other point during this sale. Now, maybe during the Xmas sale...

Okay I went for Portal 2. If it runs like trash it'll be on my short list of games I have to play when I get a new PC, along with Mirror's Edge and embarrassingly enough P.B. Winterbottom.

I bought Overlord 2 last Christmas and never even installed it. I think it was like 2 dollars. I imagine that would run like dogshit too, so that is also on the list.

edit: and Sean what were you thinking. You'll wait for Portal 2 to be 5 bucks but you'll pay over 6 dollars for DNF!? Game is garbage.

Speaking of that game, I find it weird that even though it's sort of considered a total bomb, I feel like a lot of people have bought it. Not sure how it's a bomb.

You have chosen wisely Phil.

Less than 2 hours to go for the next set of deals... I can hardly wait!

A bit of a letdown, but if you've never played Fallout: NV you no longer have any excuse!

My wallet has been safe so far, but there's a couple things that are discounted for the duration that I may get at the end of the sale.

Deus Ex HR is 50% off today. Gonna grab that DLC.

My wallet isn't hurting from this sale like it has in the past.
