Piranha 3DD
Wow, this movie is horrendous. I enjoyed Piranha 3D which was done by a well known horror director Alex Aja (The Hills Have Eyes remake). But he passed on a sequel. And rightfully so. Everything fun and funny about the first one is done to the extreme in this new one. They go too far to try to make some comedic moments. The thing about Piranha 3D is they were all in on the joke yet had some genuine horror moments. It made me laugh and had some brutal kills. In this movie, all the piranha migrate through pipes to a water park run by over the top David Koechner (Champ Kind). Its an "adult" water park where women can go topless and strippers are the life guards. Its ridiculous and I can't believe I'm going to say it but there's too much nudity. Tits just to show tits instead of making it a moment. Everyone is just nude and they don't care. And Ving Rhames and Paul Scheer reprise their roles for no reason. David Hasselhoff is pretty funny playing a spoof of himself as a struggling actor. Christopher Lloyd is back for no reason. There are some OK moments and blood and gore everywhere. But its missing whatever the first one had to make it enjoyable. Its not that "in on the joke" type horror comedy, the whole thing is just a bad joke.

hahahaha, I didn't realize they made a remake. I kind of wanted to see the original.

Someone offered to buy my ticket to see this so i went, fuck this movie. There are some funny super-baddish jokes in there, and a lotta eye candy. The problem that i found, and pretty much everyone i talk to is that the camera brings on the motion sickness. I've never had motion sickness(aside from some long car rides when i was a kid), i loved cloverfield, but the camera quality is bad, and the party setting/the way they filmed it was begging for motion sickness.

Also i saw a preview for a new ben stiller movie called neighborhood watch, looks like a shitstorm's coming.

Oh god, Project X looked fucking awful. I would never watch that movie ever.

I was told I needed to watch this movie. Currently doing so and I want to kill myself.

Project X

This movie was so fucking bad. I told the people that told me to watch it that it was fucking garbage. So it's a "found footage" movie about a bunch of kids that throw a party so huge that eventually half the town gets wrecked. It's fucking awful. I didn't laugh at a single scene. It is the equivalent of literally going to a party where you don't know anyone and aren't in on any of the jokes. You just sit there starring.

The characters were all fucking terrible. The whole point of the part is so they can get laid. Meanwhile the main character's best friend is this smoking hot girl. She clearly likes him and he likes her. I don't see where the issue is here. They try and play it off with the "she's one of us" angle, but no, I'm not falling for that. Fucking terrible.

Oh and at the end of the movie, after the Dad's entire house is ruined, he's basically proud of his son. He thought his son was a loser so he's impressed he "had it in him" to ruin the whole town. Meanwhile he didn't have it in him, it was his shitty friend's fault and idea.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKK

It would be great if the Ricky Claire scene was in Project X. The whole 50 cent song and bring me too tone, THAT would be hilarious.

Yeah project X was bullshit, I haven't fallen asleep in a theatre like that since half blood prince. (not that project x is anything close to any of the potter movies.)

Pretty damn awesome. I heard some complaints that Damon Lindelof pulled some LOST shit and wrote too many unanswered questions into the script but I really didn't think so. People just like to complain about him. Of course they set up for a possible sequel, is that what they mean? Anyway, 2 scientists find ancient drawings from all over the world of what looks like some kind of solar system. Its the year 2098 so they can basically find what system matches it and go there. A big corporation is interested in their findings and funds the trip, and provides some personnel to join. They think they can trace back humankind to certain "engineers". They find what looks like a man made structure on this new planet and explore it. They find all kinds of cool shit but also awaken some alien beings. Crazy shit happens. Lots of similarities to Alien but not really related to it all that much. It just takes place in the same world. I forget what year Alien takes place but its after these events so it could be called a prequel. The alien beings are not what I expected at all. I can't say much more without ruining it. It was a really cool movie. Its much more of a sci fi movie than Alien was. Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace were great in it. Definitely want to watch it again.

Somehow watched an hour of that Tim and Eric movie last night on Netflix. Expected the worst and got worse. What a colossal piece of garbage.

I saw it last night too. I thought it was pretty good. I liked the 3D in this movie in that it was more subtle and I think that's really the best kid of 3D. It looked really cool when they were in the caves.

Yeah I meant to mention that. The 3D was definitely well done.
I didn't want to see it in 3D but I couldn't make it to the 2D times so I just said F it. Ended up being pretty cool.

Willow
Got this from Netflix, haven't seen it since I was a youngster. I still enjoyed it. After watching Life's Too Short with Warwick Davis, I just wanted to see this again. I can't believe he was only 18 when filming this movie. And he really hasn't done much since. And I forgot it was a Ron Howard movie with George Lucas producing. If you've never seen it, it kind of has Cinderella type story. A baby is born who is destined to take down an Evil Queen. People that know this hide the baby and send her down a river to a village of little people. Willow becomes the one that must take this baby to a King and Queen in a far away castle. So begins his journey. Along the way he meets Madmartigan (Val Kilmer) who is a great swordsman but a real dickhead. He joins Willow to help out. Also a couple of REALLY little guys called Brownies, and I couldn't believe one of them was Kevin Pollak. Oh and Billy Barty plays a goofy wizard. I love me some Billy Barty, that voice is great. Anyway, I still really enjoyed Willow. A good fantasy flick. My wife even liked it and these kinds of movies are definitely not her thing.

Yeah man, Willow is great. Didn't realize Warwick was so young here either. He's had a good career though, I wouldn't say he hasn't done much since then. He's got the entire Leprechaun franchise, and tons of bit roles in nearly every Harry Potter movie and I'm pretty certain even the new episodes of Star Wars. I mean yeah he hasn't had a role like Willow, but how many movies are there were the title character calls for a little guy? That one guy that is in Death at a Funeral and I think Game of Thrones is like the new Warwick Davis.

Willow made a big impact on me as a kid. One of the first I saw in the theaters.
