you only know that because you watched the first episode. they never said that in the previews.
all the rest of these people were just assuming before the episode aired.
And how can a premiere episode of a series be FILLER!? Its called back story and building characters. Its Episode 1 for God's sake. There isnt even anything to fill yet.

i knew they would try to explain that separate time stream though. too many people have seen back to the future and go by those rules.
but in terra nova, they did testing to determine where the time portal was sending them before they actually went in there.
i enjoyed the 2 hour premiere. the dinosaurs aren't great looking but the jurassic park-like scene at the end with the "slashers" attacking the truck was really cool.
and of course there's bad guys besides dinos so like The Walking Dead not always being about zombies, Terra Nova won't always be about dinos.

HAHAHAHHA I didn't even watch it and, sorry William, I laughed at the idea of you calling the first episode filler. It's the first episode man.

So are you going to watch it next week John?

Oh yeah. I'll watch the whole thing. And Mandy liked it a lot which was surprising since its not really her kind of show with a sci-fi meets dinosaurs theme.

It's a drama man. Did you really expect 2 hours of nothing but dinos?

wtf are you talking about separate time stream. that would mean they were in a parallel reality. if they are going back in time in their same dimension, then it would disrupt the timeline, i don't give a shit how their fake science explained it.

I just got done watching it. It was ok. I'll stick around for a couple more episodes. I hated the main characters son. He's a big douche. And everytime they said the other settlements name I laughed. Cause all I could thing of was this guy would be there leader. haha.

I watched it with my parents, my dad kept saying that this show is the same as lost... The sixers are the others, the weird markings are a mystery so far, mysterious new place. I guess in a few episodes i'll know for sure but I doubt the characters in terra nova will be lost grade.

Terra Nova cancelled.
Good. I watched the whole first season but as soon as it was over, I removed it from my DVR series priorities.
I was planning on sitting out Season 2 anyway.

I gotta admit I'm shocked you watched the whole first season. Not surprised that got the ax.
