Basic synopsis...
Steve Rogers continues his affiliation with Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D and struggles to embrace his role in the modern world.

Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Colbie Smulders and Sebastian Stan will be reprising their roles as Captain America, Black Widow, Nick Fury, Maria Hill and Bucky Barnes. Barnes is actually known as The Winter Soldier so I guess he'll have a bigger role. New directors Anthony and Joe Russo (You, Me and Dupree). Kind of a weird choice.

New additions...

Anthony Mackie will be Sam Wilson, The Falcon.

Aside from Hurt Locker, Captain America might be the lamest of the Avengers. I can't believe they're making another one.

He is the leader of the Avengers and how can you be surprised they are making another one? Even Thor is getting a sequel.

Man Thor and Captain America were both better movies than Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk.

But Iron Man was the superior movie and look what happened to that sequal. I can only imagine Thor 2 and Captain America 2 being on par with Iron Man 2. Even if it was better, do we really need more of these movies? They make money so they'll keep making them but I'm pretty tired of super hero movies.

I bet you'll watch them though.

I thought the Cap movie was okay. I don't mind Chris Evans or Captain America. My brother and his son LOVE Cap America. It's their favorite of all those Avengers stand alone movies. I would watch a second Captain America, but I'm not going to run out to see it. I still haven't watched Thor, I don't even care to. It's just more Loki, right? That guy is the worst. I don't know if I can handle another movie with that guy.

Iron Man 3 has a great trailer, but I'm not trying to get excited about it because yeah, IM2 is one of the worst comic book movies ever made.

I haven't seen one of these movies since the first Iron Man. Too many super heroes.

Yeah Captain America was definitely better than Thor. I'm in for a second one. I enjoy super heroes.
Of course you're gonna get some stinkers like Green Lantern and Daredevil. Some are good enough for one watch like Captain America or Thor.
There's always the possibility it could be awesome depending on the people making it. Avengers had a big chance of being terrible because of so many characters crammed in but it worked really well. I gotta hand that to the writers and Joss Whedon. In the wrong hands it could have easily been crap.

Plus Captain America is basically the face of Marvel along with Spider-Man so of course he is going to get more movies. Plus if anyone has more story to tell he does.

What are the big super hero movies coming out this summer? Only one I can think of off the top of my head is Iron Man 3.

Oh Kick Ass has been upgraded to Summer Movie this time around? I feel like I remember the first one came off during an off season, like March. I would watch Kick Ass 2 but that's also not a go the movies one. Out of all of those I think the only one I'll end up getting a sitter for is Man of Steel. Though Dem does love Wolverine, so who knows, I might have to go to that.

Yeah Kick Ass came out during that weird in between season and did pretty well so now it gets a summer release, I don't know if it is going to do so hot coming out in June considering there are prob all kinds of big time movies coming out around it or at the same time. I think they should have done another in between release date.

MMA fighter Georges St. Pierre joined the cast as villain Batroc the Leaper.

Image

Quote:
Batroc has no superhuman abilities, but is in peak physical condition in every respect. He is an Olympic-level weightlifter and has extraordinary agility and reflexes. His leg muscles are particularly well-developed which enables him to leap great distances with the strength of an Olympic athlete. He is an expert hand-to-hand combatant and specializes in savate (French-style kickboxing). He is also a skilled military tactician, having formerly been in the French Foreign Legion.

Batroc is an experienced thief and smuggler, who also speaks French and English. Although, as a mercenary, he does not hesitate to perform any number of criminal acts for his clients, Batroc has, by his own rights, a strong sense of honor, and he will turn against any client whom he feels has unfairly deceived him into committing crimes to which he might not otherwise have agreed.

I like how they threw in the bit about Batroc speaking French and English. I don't know how much he has been in the comics, but something tells me the director wanted GSP in this movie, so they had to find someone for him to be.

Sorry for the trolling, just catching up.
