I knew Outsourced was done the moment they gave it that 10 slot (or was it 10:30?) I watched a few of those. I wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst either.

Also I watched the last 5 minutes of Smallville. He finally becomes Superman. They were playing all the old themes from the movie during that scene too, it was pretty cool. I heard he actually does do a final mission type thing in the suit before the part I saw. I might watch the whole episode.

I'm hearing from some fans of that show that it's still not very satisfying. You only catch a glimpse of him in the suit at the very end of the episode.

V was terrible in the 70s, it's still terrible now.

That looks like a whole lot of good riddance to me. I was under the impression Smallville was ending anyway this season, was it cancelled? I'd like to check it out sometime if they ever put it on Netflix.

No it wasn't canceled, think this was planned. It surprisingly had a good run too, 10 seasons I think.

I don't see how 30 rock is still on, it's not the worst show ever but it's pretty bad.

Outsourced was pretty meh

I like 30 Rock a lot, but I don't know how its still on either. Apparently it's always been a ratings turd, but I guess because it wins lots of awards NBC kind of just keeps it around.

Parks and Rec is great. I've only seen Outsourced a few times, but I didn't really like it.

Parks and Rec is hilarious I think it's the best right now out of the whole NBC lineup...Tom Haverford and Ron Swanson c'mon now.

Outsourced was terrible.

I didn't hate Outsourced. I watched a handful and got a few chuckles out of it. Not something I would look forward to watching but if it was on I'd leave it on. I never felt the urge to go ape shit like I did watching Perfect Couples. Thank god that one is done.

Yea I never really gave Outsourced a chance only watched like half the first season, but knew it wouldn't last long. I think series like these hit their stride around the 2nd or 3rd season which is where Parks and Rec, Community and Modern Family are, which are all pretty great right now. The Office is dragging along and 30 Rock is starting to get old for me. I remember back in season 2 and 3 of The Office just absolutely loving it.

I've only seen Parks and Rec a few times, but never laughed at any point. I keep hearing people that love it, but I guess I just don't get it.

I didn't think Outsourced was that good either to be honest and I'm not surprised it's canceled. I just thought the few episodes I've watched of that were better than the few episodes I've seen of P&R.

I'd say half a season is more then a fair chance. If a show doesn't capture you within the first few episodes then in my eyes it's failed to do its job. I hate when I try to watch something and people tell me "just hang in there, it gets so good." I don't want to hang in there, I don't want to watch hours of a show just for the hope that MAYBE it gets good to me. But anyway, you're not missing much. It was a blah show. However did you know it was based on a movie? I hear its on Netflix streaming, I'm kind of curious to watch it.

I stopped watching The Office a few episodes ago. If its on and I'm around I'll watch it but i haven't gone out of my way. Though I haven't really been watching much of anything lately. Last movie I watched was Inception which was over a month ago I think. But I watch plenty of fucking Nick Jr. I can tell you all about Yo Gabba Gabba, Fresh Beat Band, and Dora the Explorer.

i think Aziz was the only thing that entertained me when i tried to watch P&R. Even that got old real quick. I mean the show is essentially a rip off of the office, only in a park dept.

The biggest difference between them is that on Parks and Rec, there isn't a stupid romantic subplot constantly rearing it's ugly head. Yeah, some of the characters hook up, but it's all in good fun. It never gets too melodramatic. Also, The Office relies too much on uncomfortable humor. It was funny the first couple times, but it got old quick. Parks and Rec is more like a regular sitcom, but using the format of The Office.
