Chester PA under State of Emergency, and I work there

I work in Chester PA. It's a fucking terrible area. Where I'm situated close to Widener U, which is sort of a so-so area, but you make the wrong turn and you're in some bad news sections.

So apparently there have been 12 murders in this city since the start of the year. 5 of these murders took place this month so the town has been under a state of emergency for the last two weeks. The SOE means there is a curfew after 8pm in which there can't be groups over 3 people in the streets. It only took them one week to kill someone after this happened as there was a murder over the weekend.

Yesterday when I was leaving the above news story happened. I didn't know what was going on until today. So there was a big shoot out and a dude died. Apparently since there is a now a curfew in place, these people just rob houses and do shit earlier in the day.

Anyway, coming to work is starting to suck more and more each day. This place is a fucking zoo.

They're trying to do things to turn the town around, so I imagine they were offered an incentive to put their business here. They opened a casino here that has gone to shit from what I understand and they just opened Philly's first soccer stadium here too. But none of those things matter. One only need to look at Camden NJ to see that sticking diamonds in a pile of shit doesn't mean it's still not a pile of shit.

yea man i use to play hockey over there and had to drive thru some rough neighborhoods. Never had a problem though the 3 years i played there.

Funny thing with that new stadium is it seats 18,000 but there are only 4,000 parking spots around the stadium. The other ppl have to park in a surrounding lot. There is gonna be some break ins for sure.

well i would assume just like in this cities case they would be inserting the diamonds after the turd had already landed.
