Marky Mark was just trying to be a macho guy. I think a lot of people think the same way he does.
WELL I WOULDNT HAVE JUST SAT THERE! I WOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING!
Thats just talking without thinking.

He was supposed to be on one of the planes and changed his plans a few days prior and said he still has dreams about it to this day.
I think he feels guilty in a way. He got out of it safe while all those people died. Like he could have done something if he was there.
But the way he said it was just douchey.

It was a thoughtless asshole comment. Also I don't believe it for one second. Normal people, who witness maniacs slicing and dicing anyone who comes near them with exacto knives and shit, are going to be terrified. It is a pretty well known fact that they slaughtered a few people in front of everyone while taking over the plane. So that cabin WAS likely covered in blood. Also what he is saying happened on flight 93 and everyone still died. It is just another example of how celebrities DO NOT live in the real fucking world.

I actually didn't know he was supposed to be on one of the planes, I was wondering why they asked him this question. Thing is, this makes his answer even worse. You think he'd be much more sensitive about it.

You know how many people think exactly what he does? A lot.
Its just not a story when some random idiot says it.

And yes, we know he would have done nothing. But he feels like he would have because he wasn't there seeing it in person. Just like lots of people.
I've personally heard people say "I would have charged that fuckin arab and taken him down and then ganged up with so and so and blah blah blah....".

I'm just playing devil's advocate here. I know what he said was really douchey. I just think people are blowing it out of proportion because he's Marky Mark.
