These past few days something has wound up waking me up earlier than I planned, cutting my sleep short. So I go about my day and realize I'm tired as fuck. Eventually it gets to the point where I'm like, "Fuck it, I'm going to take a nap." Yesterday I nap for about 20-45 minutes cause I had something to do, I wake up and I feel like shit, more tired than before I napped. Now Today I napped for about 2-2.5 hours and I woke up feeling almost hung over. Like headache body ache not rested at all.

I just don't get how people nap and love it so much.

Naps are always a whoredaddy afterwards, they feel great but once you wake up, your sleep schedule is dead, and then you feel groggy all day

Meh I got used to it, working midnights and going to school puts you in a position to really appreciate sleep whenever you can get it, even if it's just for a few minutes here and there. My body has adjusted a lot though, I don't feel the terrible shock of waking up as much anymore and it doesn't take me very long to have my brain boot up into 'alert' mode.

I normally feel the same way, but I took a much needed nap on Sunday afternoon and it was great.

One thing to note though is that I love car naps. Like if my family is driving up to Nova Scotia I can definitely sleep in the car for a bit.

I don't take naps either. I used to do 2 minute power naps at my desk at work though.

Anything over an hour isn't a nap, to me. That's a sleep! 45 minutes tops for a good nap, and give yourself an actual alarm so you wake up quick and aren't groggy.

Be a better napper. (tm)
