Ugh, I responded to a craigslist ad for an apartment. Turns out, it's just another scammer. I didn't give them any information so I guess that's good. It was pretty much a phishing scam for personal info. What a waste of time. At least I was smart enough to recognise it.

Lol. Had a friends daughter who responded to one of those and almost actually did it. Luckily the mother was there at the time and told her it was a scam.

What info do they look for from you that makes it a scam?

Credit report info. So you'd pretty much give them all your info which then they can use to impersonate you.
