the beta has been out all of 2 weeks and these freaks are already insanely high ranked..so basically if you dont play 4 hours a day, you get owned..friggin nerds.

Again, this is exactly why I don't play online games.

i usually turn my mic off when i play online now.

see..idk..this isn't all online gaming phil..this is a specific halo issue..i can put down bf2 and come back and own ppl after 3 warm up games..halo nerds are a breed all on their own...they just play halo and nothing else..so they pretty much know everything about the game, like every inch of every map and where every gun is and all that crap.. like to be able to switch b/w games..when i feel like playing war type games i go for bf2, when i feel like killing civilians i play crackdown..but halo 3 is a decent multiplayer experience, provided you get a good group..otherwise you end up with ppl who will own you repeatedly using the same gun and active camo over and over..personally all i play is multiplayer, i am not a fan of single player stuff..but halo nerds have always been gay..they should sort ranked and unranked games...this way ppl who want to just rack up kills can do so and ppl who want to have fun, can. solid, does this community you speak of only play the tom clancy series?

yeah i dont get halo one bit. its not that its a bad game, its just that its not a GREAT game that everyone makes it out to be. there way better online games out there, though i can see how its a pretty tight online experience for a console. regardless, i couldn't get through maybe half of the first one cuz it got tired and boring after a while.

i play NHL the most online and its b/c i joined a league. If i were to go online right now and play some random person 9 times out of 10 the kid would quit or use the glitch plays.

I hate people that stereotype younger gamers. I'm 15, and my voice isn't that deep. It's annoying when I say something to my friend online, and some douschebag comes on and says, " STFU Dante, come play when your balls drop" Ummmm, they have. I'm sure they'd notice if they took the time to look as I humped their downed body. (ingame of course lol)

I don't fuckin scream into the microphone or anything like that. I only talk if it's to my friends, or the team is trying to coordinate something.

I know alot of peeps do that, and I don't have a problem with yelling at them. I just hate when I say like, Nice shot or something and some douchebag starts yelling at me.

hey what can i say..it is very hard not to want to f**k puppies.

I like playing Halo 1 on my computer. It's fun. I don't think of myself as a Halo nerd, but I'm good at it. It's really nice because, trash talkers gotta type what they say, so I can beat the shit out of them while they type and by the time they say what they want, I have their flag.

About this Halo 3 shit, those guys are just losers. Seriously, when their friend has their back in the game they make the biggest deal of it. I'd rather my friend have my back at school or when we're playing football. It sickens me how much time they put into something they know is going to be erased. Simply disgusting.

Yeah I like Halo online for the pc but Halo 2 online sucked and had a crappy matchmaking system, so I stick with the co-op and I will probably do the same for Halo 3
