Sure, I've seen many people pulled over to the side of the road in the morning on the way to work with flat tires. But I've never had that dreaded thing happen to me on the way to work.... until TODAY!

What a pain in the dick. My tire is only a couple months old and I must have ran something over because it was FLAT. So I had to change my tire in gale force winds this morning at 7AM on the local highway. Not to mention the lugnuts were on there so tight that I had to use all my power to get them off. I seriously had to take breaks in between each lugnut because I was so out of breath and weak. Every time I popped one off, I thought in my head "Lugnut, Got it!". Now I have to go see if I can get it patched because there's no way I'm buying a new tire already.

In the morning they have NJDOT trucks driving around looking for people that need help on the highway. Just as I finished changing it, one pulled up behind me. Bastard. Oh well, I only ended up being like a half hour late to work.

was there a nail in there or like a big gash in it. If its only a hole go to auto zone and get the patch stuff. its easy as hell to do. I did it on my car a few months ago.

There's like 4 nails in it.
My dad said he has a free tire repair coupon for Romar in Woodbury so I'm gonna leave work a little early and take it over there. I dont know if tire repair covers 4 separate holes though. It better not be ruined because like I said, this tire is only a couple months old.

they can patch any nail hole i get them constantly at my work because some asshole parks his construction van there and leaves it there overnight like its his shed so there is nails all over the ground. I usually take my car to mobile and they do it for like 10 bucks. Ive had to do it like 3 times now.

Romar patched my tire last summer and I haven't had a problem with it since.

Totally sucks man. At least you had a spare that worked. I had a spare tire that was flat, go figure. Never buy a Dodge!

The nails really fucked up my tire and Romar said it cant be repaired. So this tire that I bought in August is already destroyed. Shit. I'll have to see if there's a warranty. If not then I'm buying another new tire already. This blows.

I had to borrow my mom's car today because I didnt want to drive 40 miles on a donut again.

I paid $50 a tire. I don't know what place you're going to.

I just called a few places and the cheapest was $95. Thats not just buying the tire but its putting it on my rim also. I bought tires online in August for 50 a pop but then it was 25 a pop to get them put on my rims.

I went to Pepboys. The tire was $50. But I had 4 tires put on at the same time. With labor, I think it all came out to be around $250-$300 or so.

I just called Pepboys and the cheapest one is $75 but its some brand I never heard of, Cornell. I just looked it up on their site.

Cornell 1000
* 40,000 Mile Warranty
* UTQG 300AB
* Value Design
* All-Weather Tread
* 75/80 series different tread

Maybe I'll just go to Pep Boys. I havent taken my car there since they ripped off my Dad for something like 5 years ago and he made a big scene. hahahaha

That's weird. The one I went to, they had that for like $60. I might have gotten that one. But I know they had a $50 one and a $60 one. What's with that $107 tire? What is it, some sort of super performance tire? I hate auto mechanics. They're all trying to rip you off, wherever you go.

They said all they had was a Cooper CS4.
On Pep Boys site it has this for that brand.

The CS4 Touring is Cooper’s premium luxury touring tire designed for drivers who want optimum ride comfort, sporty handling, all season traction and attractive styling in a touring tire.

* 80,000 mile warranty
* UTQG 780AA
* Superior wet performance—resists hydroplaning and improves wet braking
* Extra grip in rain and snow
* Designed for all season performance
* Dependable treadwear
* Ride comfort and uniformity
* Premium appearance
* T speed rated

what a crock of shit. I might call Romar back and ask for some Cornell. haha

You'll have 3 plain tires and 1 super tire.

Well I have 2 in the back that came with the car, one of the front driver side that is pretty good, and then i'd have a passenger side front tire as a super tire. haha my car is diverse.

but i'm gonna call Romar back and say I got better deals at Pep Boys which is like one street over so I'll see if they try to keep my business from their opposition.

I called Romar back and told them the Cooper CS4 was too high performance for me. They found another brand for 70 bucks, Aurora. So they're doing that today. Which is good because my tire is already there for them to put the new one on my rim. I dont have to go driving around to places and waiting around after work.

Hopefully Vino doesnt come in here and tell me Aurora is the worst brand tire known to man. hahahaha I looked it up before I made my decision. Seems decent. Thats all I really need since I only drive like 40 miles a day and way less on weekends.

I don't know about you guys but up here in Canada if you have all-season tires in Winter you're going to be sliding all over the place.
