FM Radio stinks. It make me so mad cause all they do is talk and play the same crap over and over again. I haven't listened to the radio in a while and since my mom's car doesn't have a CD player, I'm forced to until my car is fixed (hopefully by today). I heard freaking Check On It 3 times yesterday on the way to work. It's a catchy song and all but come on. I keep hearing Sugar, We're Going Down too. I'm about to just buy an IPod and listen to that.

I got XM satellite radio in August 2004 and I havent listened to FM radio in my car since then. Satellite seriously blows it away.
The only time I listen to FM is when I have to drive my mom or dads car for some reason. Even then I try to remember to bring a CD with me because both have CD players... but sometimes I forget.

I justed remembered another thing I HATE about FM radio. It just happened again not once but twice on my way home. They cut songs. MMR doesn't really do it but other station freaking cut songs! I HATE IT!!! Especially when they cut Sweet Child of Mine. All of the sudden, the solo is gone and you are at the end of the song. Same with November Rain. All of the sudden, solo gone, end of the song. I can't stand it. I would call up the stations and yell at them if I knew their numbers. Why play a song if you are just going to cut half of it? They never play the entire thing of Everything I Do, I Do It For You. There's an entire outro! That's my favorite part of the song. I just heard Boston - Long Time except it wasn't Long Time, it was Short Time. There was no intro, half of the middle is missing. I can't stand it. I hate FM radio. It sounds horrible too when they cut it, all of the sudden, the song just skips. I'm going to look up the phone number to all of those stations and call them up and yell at them the next time I hear them cut a song. That probably won't happen though because today will be my last day driving a car without a CD player.

Scott got the new sirius radio and game me his old one so count me in for no more FM. All i will switch back to is WIP

i was still locked in for 9.95 a month but now I running out so its gonna be 12.95 like it is for everyone else. POOP!

I hear XM is better than Sirius. The quality and the tech. I hear they have more selections too. Is this true?

XM has more subscribers but then again they have been around a little while longer so theres no REAL way to prove it.

The debate will always go on about which is better.
Its a preference thing.

I have XM for O&A pretty much.
There's usually gonna be one thing that drives you to a particular company.
For me it was Opie & Anthony.... I do enjoy several music stations also and occasionally listen to baseball games when its MLB season.

You went from not wanting to go to baseball games to liking the phils and going to watching them on TV and now your listening to MLB games on the radio. That has to be the worst. i can hardly get thru a whole phillies game on TV. I think i would drive off a bridge listening to baseball.

I own XM as you guys know but I listen to sirius more because its in my work truck. XM is definitely better in you always have service, the only times it cut out was 2 times in Colleens school town in PA. Sirius cuts out pretty frequently, especially when you drive under small bridges where XM doesnt cut out. As for Stations, Sirius is better if you like Rock, Classic and New Age, which I do. All in all I think i like sirius a little more because of channel 14 Classic Vinyl it always has a song on I like. I'm staying with XM though, Top Tracks is a pretty good station and I've really been getting into O&A lately where I actually listen make an attempt to listen to the whole show. Oh yeah and the fact I dont feel like buying more equipment. I'll probably listen to baseball a dumpload this summer and since I've been going to school I miss some flyers games, Now I listen to it on 610 but i turn to it on my XM radio because it shows the score and the period and junk. I'd say this post was pretty pointless but I invested too much time typing it to delete it.

i dont really listen to the other teams games, but while i was going to school last year i would always turn it on to listen to phillies games or check scores of rival teams by flipping through the channels. more towards the end of the season.

i have no problem listening to the games or watching them.
i actually watched more games than i normally do last year. i guess i was into it more.

and yeah i know about 5 years ago i couldnt care less about any sports at all.

Are the announcers on XM the hometown guys. I put on a flyers game on sirius while i was in scotts room played xbox and it wasnt the hometown team and i was getting mad at them so i turned on 610 for brian propp. I cant stand out of town guys all they do is bash our teams

thats the only problem, they only have home team announcers when its a home game otherwise there would be a shitload too many channels for baseball to compensate for every team gettinhg their own channel.

i usually put on AM when its an away game but mine comes in shitty.

flyers games are the 610 broadcast but XM has a 2 second delay so thats why i listen to AM
