This makes 2 days in a row now while driving some idiot decides to change lanes when I am in their blindspot and I have to lay on the horn before I get bumped into. These people didnt take the basics of driving or something. When its traffic-heavy in the morning you cant just change lanes without looking. You have to check the mirrors then glance in the blindpost which is off to the left or right where the mirror cant see but the car is almost right next to you. Yeah I dont do it everytime but I make sure that if there are a lot of cars around, I check it.

I swear to God if someone ever hits me while doing this I will sue your ass for one reason which is they wont learn a lesson unless I do.
Hit me and I'll sue.

If you're driving faster than everyone else on the road you don't have to check your blind spot. You'll know what's behind or beside you because you just passed it.

I was just kidding. Even though what I said is mostly true. I still check. But a good driver will be checking his mirrors regularly so that he always knows exactly who is in front, behind, and to either side of him. Just so if you need to make some kind of emergency maneuver you'll know in advance where it's safe to swerve. The only way a car can end up in your blind spot without you knowing about it is if you're not paying attention.
