Once in a while last week, while sitting on the computer, I would hear little scratching sounds coming from the wall in front of me. I told my wife and she said I'm probably just hearing things or it's coming from a pipe or something. I told her it has to be some sort of animal.

Well this morning the mouse and/or mice decided to have their coming out party. There was poop EVERYWHERE in the kitchen. Those little fuckers must have had a field day. There was shit lining my entire counter top, all along the walls on the floor and even some turds here and there in my living room.

So if I'm not dealing with fucking thousands of ants, I guess I have to deal with mice. This blows. I have been in this house for almost two years and we never had mice before. Fucking A man. I don't feel like dealing with this shit, but I guess it's killing time.

My house has a crap load of lady bugs. It's getting colder outside so they made it into the house some how. Now more and more are coming because I think they release some sort of scent to attract others. There's so many. My solution is to just to wait until it gets even colder and not turn on the heat in the house so that they'll die off even in the house.

Hahahaha I know, this house is giving me absolute hell. Growing up at my parents house we never had a single mouse ever (not that I knew of anyway) and we would have ant problems once in a while, though never to the extend at my place. It's just ridiculous. I think this winter when everything officially dies I'm going to go around my house and try to find holes and odd places and seal everything up. I don't know what to do other than that.

So here is a question for anyone that has had to deal with a mouse before. I want to go home and rip my kitchen apart and clean it up, and also see if I can find some hole or something, but I'm thinking that might not be the way to go. My kitchen is kind of a mess right now outside of the fact there is shit everywhere, should I leave the mess another night (but clean up the poop) and put the traps out? I would imagine if the kitchen was spotless they would feel less inclined to come out and party again. I'm not sure what to do.

they will party no matter what. just get a cat or borrow one. or call an exterminator and he can spray all sorts of wonderful poisons around the exterior of your homes for a quarterly fee. mine is like 75$ 4 times a year.

I should probably do the exterminator thing before Spring next year at least. But okay, I'll clean up and leave out some sweet traps.

The counter tops have been cleaned off completely and I have set 4 traps. If there isn't death and destruction tomorrow morning I will be very upset.

My dad likes to put traps in places like behind our fridge. The little fuckers love running around in small tight areas.

We also have a cat that gets them here and there.

Attics are a good spot too, as is behind the garbage can if you have one.

Just be careful because dogs and stuff will also lick the peanut butter off the traps because they are stupid.

I wouldn't worry about boarding the house up too much during the winter, those little fuckers can chew through everything, I met a guy once who wrapped all the holes around his place with chickenwire and wooden boards and stuff and the critters still chewed through it.

This shit is something you'll probably have to deal with every goddamn winter, that's about the only time we even see mice. The little rodents hate the cold and will stop short of nothing to get into someplace warm, even if that means chewing through wood and drywall and shit. The summer time isn't an issue because there's no neccessity for them to come inside.

Well he's totally dead.

Man now I feel really bad. He was a cute little guy and I had to go and ruin his life. I have no problem killing insects, but I always feel terrible for furry little creatures.
