the song's called bullet with butterfly wings, asshole!

hahahahaha, it doesn't deserve to be called by it's actual name. Rat in the cage should have been its name all along.

I also love how Disarm is known as The KILLER IN ME IS THE KILLER IN YOUUUU hahahaha.

I like the pumpkins. I hate billy corgan. I like Bullet with Butterfly Wings. I dislike this ad campaign.

However, the ad campaign will probably work. It's targeting kids, and I'm sure they'll get their parents to buy it for them. The adults that are off-put by it will probably still buy the game if they like dead space regardless, and either way you're at least seeing the ads and thinking about them. There is no such thing as bad publicity.

Unfortunately, more than anything, it's not so much that video games aren't taking themselves seriously, I think it's more that the guys who head up marketing, contract out marketing, whatever the case may be, are still made up of people who believe that video games are for kids only. This kind of shit just reminds me of countless pages of terrible ads I've seen in my teenage years coming out of nintendo power. I mean, when you believe your market demographic is primarily 8 - 18 year olds you'll cater your ads accordingly.

Nintendo? Their ads were just obnoxious during the 16bit era. It was Sega that did ads like this, and it paid off for them well.

In this game you stomp on baby heads. Let me assure you that it's not to be taken seriously at all.
