SO the occupiers in LA planned to march in downtown los angeles today to prevent ANYBODY FROM GOING TO WORK, and LAPD fucking caved and SHUT down the streets so they can walk around and preach their worthless cause. SO now i can't go to work along with hundreds of thousands of others because LAPD is a piece of shit and so are the protestors

It's times like this were flash bangs, hoses, dogs, and pepper spray are completely justified, I dont give a shit about your right to free speech i have a right to go to my fucking job and earn money.

Yeah, it's bullshit. Traffic was a nightmare this morning. Luckily, I left earlier than usual. These people need to occupy themselves off of the golden gate bridge.

I just can't believe LAPD is letting them do this, the protestors are in the vast minority, and are actually hurting people who work hard as opposed to crying like a little baby in the streets.

My favourite part is that the vast majority of the people that they are hurting are "99%ers". If they prevent the 1% from going to work it doesn't impact them nearly as much.

I feel like no one cares anymore. It was such a fad. I know people really did care about it but they realized they can't just waste their lives protesting. I bet it's horrible now, all kinds of homeless people and shit.

So the concept is they just want more jobs and higher pay? yeah marching around breaking shit will help.

There's some LA protests at different schools, mainly UCLA. A bunch of occupoo people sat in at the UCLA admissions offices protesting because not enough blacks/hispanics/native americans are admitted to ucla. So basically they want affirmative action back (if they weren't idiots in your mind by now) which is prohibited by prop 209. So instead of doing the logical thing-getting funding and signatures to make a ballet initiative-they go and harass the admissions staff and administrators. So what the fuck are the staff supposed to do? Break the law? They need to have superheroes that just beat people who don't possess this amount of problem solving ability, superman can just throw them into the sun.

They don't get admitted because they don't score high enough on their SATs. You don't see the Asians protesting. In fact, I think there are more Asians at UCLA than there are of any other race.

Yeah UCLA and Berkeley are known for being all asian, seriously walk in that library, tell me how many white people you see.

Man I fucking hate shit like that. Race, gender, religion, whatever should have absolutely no impact in things like admittance into schools or getting jobs. It should be based on the quality of the application/applicant.

That's like saying the smartest white guy did worse on his SATs than every single Asian at UCLA, but he should take one of their spots because he was the top of the white guys. That's so dumb. Why take away positions from the people who actually deserve them?
