I paid $37 to fill up my tank. Gas prices project to go as high as $5/gallon. Maybe people will stop driving and it will go down again....? Probably not.

If my calculations are right then in Canada we are paying about $4.7 per gallon. We hover between about $1.15-1.30 per litre or something. I used $1.25 which is what it was last time I saw but we don't have a set price for the week or whatever in Ontario. It can change multiple times in a day even.

I find it interesting how much more we pay since we have the Alberta oilsands. However I guess it does make sense because I think we sell most of that oil to you guys.

Iran's fault? Our prices have stayed pretty steady up here.

Dude, gas is hitting $4.25 here. This blows. I hear it's still only $3.40 in NJ. I might just stay home 2 days out of the week if this keeps up.

Its like 3.53 if you use a credit card here, 7 cents cheaper if you pay in cash.

$4.29 was the cheapest I could find last week. :(

I don't even know how hourly wages people work. They must get there by bicycle or something. Either that or they're riding the bus. I guess that would make more sense or else they'd be paying half their pay checks for gas.

Last summer gas here was over $1.30 per litre which is about $4.92 per gallon if I'm not mistaken. (your $4.29/gallon is about $1.14/litre) and I had to drive about 31 kilometres to work every day and then another 31 back. Normally the drive would be about 40 minutes (1 way) but there was some serious construction for part of the summer that extended that by anywhere from 20-40 minutes depending on the day. I got massively lucky though cause my folks agreed to pay for my gas since I was saving so I could have some cash in residence, if they hadn't I would have lost a large chunk of my pay just to get to work.
