I take back what I said about generally liking the same music as I did when I was younger. I thought of a couple that I can't stand now. And I don't just mean they changed as they got older and went in a direction that made me not enjoy them as much. I mean I don't listen to the stuff I used to like from back in the day either.
Papa Roach. I liked their first couple albums but now wouldn't leave any of their songs on. Last Resort was one of the most overplayed songs on rock radio for a while yet I still liked it. Now I can't stand these guys and Last Resort can go fuck off.
Limp Bizkit. Liked only their first album, when Nookie came out to lead off their second album I was done with them. Now I wouldn't leave any of their older stuff on if it came on either. Faith is another really overplayed back in the day.
Korn. I think it was mandatory to like Korn if you were into metal in the 90s. I listened to their first 2 albums a million times, then when Got The Life came out off their 3rd album I was done with them. I dont think I would listen to any of their older shit now either. But I must admit when I was drunk at Ozzfest a couple years ago I enjoyed their performance. But it might have been the alcohol and the fact that they covered Metallica's One.
There were more that I thought of the other day but now I'm drawing a blank.
I hate these threads because it never fails that i disagree with everyone. I still like the same music i liked ages ago. I also like some new music. The list of music that i like keeps growing, stuff isn't dropping off it. maybe it's because i like so much music that i can still enjoy the shit i listened to growing up. It also probably helps that i never listen to the radio (unless my wife has it on in the car).
This week i have listened to the first Gin Blossoms album about 5 times. I still enjoy just about every band mentioned in this thread (with the exception of Korn and Limp Bizkit, i never really liked them). I still love me some 90s shit.
And as for ICP -
Chillin' at the studio, $85 an hour -- So hurry up and loop a beat mike, c'mon!

I'll cosign the Gin Blossoms.
Definately in my top five of all time favorite 90's jams.

System of a Down used to be my favorite band in middle school, and for some of high school, but I can't stand them now. Serj's voice sounds like a sheep baaa'ing.
This guy I work with was blasting SOAD today and I loved it. I retract the above post.
