So I went out on the boat for about 5 hours in Rehoboth and I didnt know until we got out there that we only had SPF8 with Tanning Lotion. So basically this is for people who are working on a tan. Well I dont tan. I'm half Italian but I'm white as white can be. So I got burnt. And you think the pain of sunburn is the worst.... the showers, when people touch you, the sun beating on it.

Then theres the itching and peeling. Thats what is happening right now.
My whole body itches and now my face is peeling. I hate peeling when I'n in work, I feel like people are staring at me. Not to mention I HAVE to peel myself, thank god I dont have a mirror or I would be looking at my skin and peeling it.

I was working outside for Dick's Sporting Goods this past weekend. All day in the sun for 4 days straight. I had SPF 50, but it didn't work so well.

Right now, my neck feels like it's peeling off. And have you ever had the back of your knees get sunburnt? Try walking, it's such a pain.

you get sunburn 10 times faster and worse on a boat, reflects off the water. I used to get scorched when I would go on my parents boat

i thought only my face was going to peel because it has been for the last 5 or 6 days. but now my arms and chest are peeling. f u peels

7 year old thread. Good lord.

It was only in the 60s and 70s for Memorial Day weekend while I was on vacation so I never even thought to use sunscreen when its cool out.
But being on the boat for a couple hours in the sun still got me. And now today my forehead is peeling. I see flakes falling on my desk.
I tried to lotion it up so I didn't get the looks from people but that already wore off. So now I just have to deal with it.

Yeah, if you're on a boat, you definitely need it. You're not just getting sun from above but also from the reflections from the water.
