It was pretty rad they actually used the cartoon voices. The cartoon must have been off the air for a few years by that point, too. But I guess a bunch of the voices/sprites were holdovers from X-Men vs. Street Fighter.

A bit late here but I've been playing around with my new Wacom and figured I could knock out a few T.A.P.'s out.

When I was drawing this Wolverine pic I was like "Huh, there's something familiar about this..." Then I finish and I notice he's in almost exactly the same pose as the Falco pic I did, lol. Well, whatever.

Haha I thought the exact same thing, nice work!

Since I havent done the last ones (due to my computer problems and my honeymoon...) I did 2 different Wolverines for this weeks Art Tuesday...The first one with the mask and the second in an X-Men Jacket smelling trouble...

I guess for this weeks art tuesday we will keep the superhero theme alive with another Marvel obscure hero named Iron Fist...he is an awesome character who focuses his chi into a fist of iron, he knows kung fu...whoa.

Looks good man. And there is nothing wrong with using a reference. I mean, if you don't really know what something looks like, then you need to look at something.

and i agree with phil. i use ref all the time as i work. i'll sometimes trace right off a model to make sure im getting the volumes right alot of times.

Good to hear that, I definitely do a lot better when I look at a picture/pose of a character. By the way, I love inking in Photoshop, that was by far the funnest part of that drawing.
