yeah man, i'm a big fan. walter is a really funny character. i said this before but they go off on tangents a bit and the ones that connect to the over arching story are the best. sometimes there's an episode thrown in that has nothing to do with continuing stories about other dimensions and all that. those are some cool episodes but weaker in my opinion because i just want more other world shit.

The other world stuff is really great, but I still can get behind the one offs. They usually incorporate the main storyline into those episodes a little bit, even if they aren't focused on it. I just really like the dynamic of the show and the characters. Also, since I've seen some pivotal 2nd season episodes, that knowledge makes watching the first season a completely different experience. Makes me want to go back and watch Lost again and see how much of the insanity makes sense now.

I loved this episode. The noire setting and futuristic tech did it for me big time. Stoned Walter was hilarious too. :D

I thought it was definitely a filler episode so they could push their finale deeper into May. Much like LOST did with their week off. But it was an OK episode. Just one of those ones that could have been eliminated and it wouldnt have affected the story at all.

TONIGHT MAY 6TH AT 9PM EST ON FOX
Northwest Passage
A murder investigation that may be linked to Thomas Jerome Newton pairs Peter with a local sheriff (Martha Plimpton); Walter dreads a return to St. Claire's; a visitor arrives from the alternate universe.

Yeah man this show is really good. I thought Part 1 of the Finale was awesome. They got together some X-Men type people but they pretty much all died. Now Leonard Nimoy and his false teeth are back for the real Finale next week. Shits gonna go down! I dont know how this show can have a Season 3. I wonder whats gonna happen.

Well I wouldn't go that far but I am pretty pumped too. I'm DVR'ing The Office finale to watch another day so I can watch Fringe instead. Better be a good one.

There was a pretty huge cliffhanger at the end of last season. I hear that what happens at the end of this season will make your jaw drop. I guess we'll see.

I'm hoping for something crazy happening, like, Olivia dies and other Olivia comes to our reality and takes her place. Come on Fringe, don't let me down.

Dude you were pretty close. I knew they wouldnt kill off Olivia though but your scenario is going to play out next season. And did you know they were going to call him Walternate? I got a laugh out of that because you put that in this thread a couple weeks ago.

Good shit. This show doesnt get great ratings so I wouldnt be surprised if they wrap up with Season 3. They already had the Olivia and Peter kiss which they said they were not going to rush. So it makes me think they're preparing just in case.

hahaha, yeah! I was really surprised by how close I was. I had heard the name Walternate before from one of my friends, but I missed a lot of the 2nd season, so I don't know if they've used that name before in the show.

I would be sad to see the show end after only 3 seasons, but it doesn't seem like something that would be impossible to pull off plotwise. As long as they keep the show as entertaining as it's been recently, I'll be happy.

John Noble deserves a fucking emmy. He has some serious chops. Every time he is on screen, I'm completely lost in the moment.

Yeah and you can tell how great he is when Walternate is like a completely different character. That spaced out version of Walter he has been doing for two seasons now is the real acting.

What a good ending to the season. And now we go further down the rabbit hole.

Returns in one week.
Here's a first look and some interviews. I had no idea Anna Torv had an accent.
