Dem wanted an exercise bike for Mother's Day. I was against it because we didn't have room for it. She kept going on and on about it and of course I gave in and bought her one off of Amazon. I cleared out all this baby stuff that was clogging up the foyer and set it up in there. It was good, for three days.

The belt or whatever it is inside the fake plastic "wheel shell" was starting to rip and come through the spot where the pedals are. She had only used it three times about an hour each. I went to Amazon and thankfully they have a great a painless return process. You just tell them the item broke and they immediately send a replacement. They even send the UPS dude out to your house to pick up the package and he handles the shipping label. Unfortunately that morning I had thrown out the big cardboard box it came in. I was kind of freaking out but I had a large box in my garage (full of spiders) that I was able to use. I took the whole thing apart and packaged it away. The next day the UPS dude picked it up and the new one was already there. That was at least cool.

I set up the new one. Now four days later the same thing happened. I held onto the box this time just in case, but fuck. I'm tired of setting this thing up and taking it apart. I'm an expert at it now. I can build these things in 5 minutes. This morning I put it out for UPS to pick up and this time Dem picked out a whole new one (which cost a bit more, but whatever). If this thing breaks too I'm going to blow my mind up.
