Do you think we'll find the truth this season or no?

I was wondering that too. We better.

Yeah I think it'll wrap up. It hasn't been picked up for Season 2 yet so hopefully they made Season 1 with a case wrap up at the end. Seems like its getting there.
I don't know where the show will go from here though. If it got picked up, does that mean Season 2 is a different case altogether? Is she finally going to move and get married and start a job in her new city? I like the gloomy Seattle setting. I feel like her relationship is going to be ruined and over by the end of the season and she's going to stick around.

I think we will yeah. I'm convinced the killer is someone we've already been introduced to. I'll be kind of disappointed if its someone they bring in right at the end.

Oh it has to be someone out of left field, if it's the mayor I will be disappointed.

Interesting episode this week. It had one revelation to do with the case and then the rest of the episode was all Sarah and Holder. You got a bit more into their personal situations and such and it made it a bit easier to relate.

it was good to finally get a bigger picture on both of them and answer some of the questions surrounding their situations..but i think it was a bit too much all at once. i also got really sick of seeing her pout around in her running tights. shes friggin tiny.

Yeah I kind of wish they had done this episode a bit earlier. Like very close to the druggy AA meeting.

You know I think that might have been one of my favorite episodes of the season. It gave me the feeling that this show and these characters could keep going after the Rosie Larson case is over. I get what you guys are saying about it being too late in the season but I really felt like it was timed perfectly. I think the next 2 episodes are gonna be nuts.

I kind of see what you mean. Also it's about time they flush those two out some more. They do all this stuff into the Larson family but not enough with the leads.

Yeah I came away from that episode genuinely liking and caring about both of them more than I did at any other point in the season. I really hope this show gets picked up for a second season and doesn't get the Rubicon treatment.

I was kind of upset that they went away from the case so late in the season, but this show definitely has an almost real time thing going on. And it would take some time to get the warrant they were looking for. So in the end, it was realistic that they had to spend a whole day with nothing case related to do. And it definitely showed a lot of character growth. Characters are very important in shows that AMC decides to pick up. So I'm sure we'll see more stuff like this if it gets picked up for Season 2. But in the end, it had another good ending that just made you want more. Can't wait for the final two episodes.

don't get me wrong, i liked the character development a lot and I am glad I got some questions answered. my only complaint that it felt like a lot at once and so it came off as kind of forced.

HELL YEAH!

from tvline.com
Quote:
Better late than never! Less than a week until The Killing closes out its inaugural season, AMC has renewed the mystery drama for a second season.
Season to date, the whodunit is attracting around 2 million weekly viewers — roughly on par with the network’s crown jewel, Mad Men.

It remains unclear what direction the show will take in Season 2, although given what transpired in last night’s penultimate episode it appears as if the Rosie murder investigation will be wrapped up this season.

“I haven’t heard anything one way or the other,” the show’s leading lady Mireille Enos recently told TVLine. “I know [exec producer] Veena [Sud] has several seasons mapped out in her mind, but she hasn’t let us know anything yet.”

We just watched last night's episode. I had a feeling they were going to go there. I'm not sure if I like it, but I'm going to reserve judgement until I see the finale.

How about Linden's ex-husband being Helo from BSG!? That's 3 BSG cameos now.

HELO! He still walks around all lurchy and shit too. he needs to start moving around like a normal person. I figured they might go there, but I didn't think they would have proof like that come up.

Yeah I just watched the last ep and I think I'll take back what I said about hating it if it was him. I think they actually played it perfectly. My only issue is How fucking stupid do you have to be to use your own campaign car Also I know they said that his wife died in some drunk driver accident. But did they say if she drowned because of it? Cause if so that's kind of perfect with the whole talking about what it feels like thing.
