-The opening story for rayman
-rayman constantly saying "yeah"
-Some stages are ridiculously short
- I ended up clicking X while on the map, not knowing it doesn't automatically go to the next spot, so I had to start all over since there's no way to get to the fucking map.
-So this game is pretty much trial and error, and they give you limited continues? That's a bunch of horseshit (I made it to the third world after the music shit and i'm done with it.)


Good
-Some of the music is actually pretty good
-The gameplay itself is pretty good, responsive, sometimes you actually have to think about what you're doing next, have to memorize certain parts of the level

Also when you beat the mosquito, do you seriously high five it afterwards?

Bad game.

Yeah, I enjoyed it too. I didn't know Rayman was supposed to be for the SNES-CD. Looking forward to the next one. Should be a lot more positive than week 1.

if i had ot offer some thoughts on rayman's success, i guess all you had to do was look at it in context. it was a platformer that offered a bit of a twist on the typical formula (jumping on heads ala mario), and it was also released on CD which believe it or not was a big deal. i guess it came at the right time.
