The point is that no one is really reading this stuff, so why spend the time creating it? Our traffic has actually decreased in recent years. This site lacks real direction and I'm just trying to get it all narrowed down.

Yeah, it'll probably cut the amount of posts down.

Maybe this is a bad idea. I'll find out in a few weeks, but I don't think it's going to phase things much.

John has really kept the Nerdlog afloat single-handedly and deserves serious credit for his efforts week in and week out. It's worth noting that his movie posts will continue on http://www.moviewiseguys.com/ you should be checking them out there.

Phil like I told John to tell you too, I would love it if once in a blue moon if you ever had that urge to write about movies and take some time away from shamoozal, if you posted your articles on wiseguys. I love reading them and it would be awesome to have them on there.

I'm also going to retire my episode description of shows each week in their respective threads on the Smorg.
Its become more of an OCD thing for me lately and I just have to break it.

The reason I never miss a Nerdlog update and post episode things every week is because I kind of have a slight OCD problem.
Like all my songs on my computer are separated into types of music and each first letter in a word is capitalized.
And Mandy makes fun of me because when I empty the dishwasher I put everything in the exact same place. Like our cabinet of glasses, I don't just randomly throw all of our glasses in there. I put certain ones in certain places. haha Its quite ridiculous.

So thats my secret as to why I was so consistent on the Nerdlog. I felt like I HAD to do it as part of my weekly routine. haha

I didn't realize that was abnormal behavior haha I've always done that. That and my clothes closet has to be organized by clothing type with all the hangers and clothes facing the same way. I used to have to organize them by color of hanger too, but I've gotten over that one.

Money is the worst for me though. I have to round up to the nearest dollar on gas or if I leave a tip by credit card it has to end up at a $5 increment for the bill total. I hate when stores have donations at the register because I end up doing the same thing there too... my bill could come to 22.63 and I'd donate 2.37 to make it an even $25.

yeah im that way with my dishes too. my fiancee however is not. drives me crazy hah

i'm every guilty of not updating the nerdlog either. i feel like i always had ideas to write up there, but never had the time to do so. so, if you need someone to blame, blame me. i deserve it.
