I have a clicking jaw from when a chick punched me in the face when I was like 13-14 so my dentist recommended a night guard to attempt to help that (or I may win up needing some kind of highly invasive jaw surgery at some point in the future). I got it last night and last not was the first night of me trying to sleep with it in. I found it very uncomfortable and it took forever to get to sleep. It juuust touches the sides of my tongue near my last teeth which occasionally gags me. Now today I am finding it hard to keep my mouth fully closed (teeth touching) for long periods of time. Actually my jaw just feels kind of sore/tired in general. Sucks.

I had a mouthguard for a while (grinding teeth in my sleep due to stress), but couldn't sleep well with it in.

Looks like I'll be getting crowns in the next few years.

Sorry to hear man. My wife wears a mouthgaurd every night as well. She has gotten really used to it though, so it might just be one of those things that takes a while to adjust.

By the way, what did you do that caused a girl to punch you in the face to where she ruined your jaw forever? That musta been some punch.

She left her mark eh Nick? She bit my finger so hard that I can keep the finger straight while bending the very tip of the finger, instead of it bending in like a normal human. Violence was how she retaliated to most things.

A solid high C cup. Also I can just bend the tips of all but 2 of my fingers.


Also I didn't do shit to make her punch me, it was something dumb, like someone told her I said something that I didn't or some shit. Also she hit me just right, like my mouth was open and it was a clean shot on my jaw right below my last molar on the left side.

At the time it wasn't bad at all then a few days later I noticed my jaw kind of "catching" when I would chew gum and stuff like that. It went away for a year or two then I guess I did something else and it got worse then ever.
