I haven't been watching trailers for this movie. I still want to see it though, I just think that by keeping my peepers unpeeled, I might enjoy it more.

Same goes for Dark Knight Rises....peepers unpeeled.

Most people are just too stupid to enjoy Ang Lee's Hulk. I may have said it before, but I actually did enjoy the new Hulk even though I went in wanting to hate it.

Ang Lee's Hulk is so odd to me. I both love it and hate the shit out of it.

Avengers is tracking 97% on Rotten Tomatoes with 29 reviews in, including ones by Variety, Associated Press and the Hollywood Reporter. Niiiiiiiiiice.

This movie is getting awesome early reviews. Pump Up factor growing.
I don't think I'm going to do opening weekend though. Maybe early next week one night after work. I can't deal with the crowds anymore.

I'm also finding myself getting excited about it.

Not sure when I'll get to see it though. We're going to Dem's parents next weekend for her brother's wedding. We were thinking of leaving the kids with her Dad and seeing it Sunday afternoon of next week. So we'll see.

It's going to clean up at the box office. First huge release of the summer and the competition for the next few weeks, in my opinion, is dreadful. Who cares about Dark Shadows, Men in Black and Battleshit.

I still haven't seen Captain America yet. I feel like I can't watch the Avengers until I see that.

Ah, I don't think so. All you need to know from that movie is that Captain America gets frozen and thrown into the future. I didn't see Thor and I still plan on watching Avengers because I'm sure I didn't miss much in Thor.

Well seeing them all would help.
With Thor you would get some info on the bad guy because its the same one in The Avengers, Loki.
So you'd see his first attempt at taking over.

So I'd see Thor over Captain America for some back story.

I want to see it because there'll probably be some awesome action, but I'm also extremely tired of corny super heroes.

NO! NO one is tired of super hero movies! NO ONE!!!!!!!

And as much as I want the super hero movies to cool it, this summer is going to prove they're still bankable as hell. No way is Avengers going to do poorly, and Batman is going to clean the fuck up. Spiderman is a bit of a wild card, but really, can anyone see Spiderman under performing? I'm part of the problem because I do want to see all three.

Get ready for another decade of super hero movies.
