Yeah, I didn't really think that was his real personality. Although, it wouldn't surprise me if there were people that are actually like that in the world.

edit: This guy talks just like James Rolfe.

I hear people are waiting in line to play their single player game. Awesome.

It's terrible, but also kind of necessary for all the auction house shit they have planned. I guess they could have a strictly offline forever option though.

Well yeah, its a bummer I guess that the online is affecting the Single player game. But, the meat and potatoes of Diablo is the online game.

As I type this I'm trying to log into the game and their authentication server has crashed. It feels like WoW in 2007, I'm getting all nostalgic reading the rage posts on the Blizzard forums.

There should be a way to play the single player portion of the game without being online/connected to their server.

They added that post-launch for Starcraft 2. Like Dante said the Auction House thing in Diablo may make that tricky.

I would be pissed but I'm sitting in Mumble laughing with a friend about the whole thing.

There should be a way to play offline without the auction house. I don't know how necessary it feels to you guys but I guarantee putting in a mode with no auction house would not have been hard at all.

Throwing jars of spiders should be an attack option in every game.

Yeah, 1 player diablo isn't really that much fun.

nope, and I think somewhere down the line blizzard will allow an offline single player, but don't count on allowing that character online, the hacks in d2 were crazy.

Also this thread should have GOTY on the right of it.
