I enjoyed the Monkees when I was younger.
I'll always remember going into Scotty Eli and Hack's basement and putting on I'm A Believer and pretending to sing along, with Pitstop too.
Then Hack accidentally punches a whole through the glass in the basement door. That was the end of Monkees sing-a-long.

The Monkees were the first boy-band ever. If i recall, the band was formed specifically for their TV show. And i loved the shit out of that TV show when i was a kid.

I really hope Ryan Seacrest doesn't take over for him. There is already too much Seacrest on NYE.

He most certainly will. He's already basically been hosting it for the last few years.
Dick just popped on from time to time to mumble stuff.

Yeah I might not watch Rockin NYE ever again then. I basically only did watch it because my folks did when I was around. Also they seem to spend more time actually down in the streets than most other NYE shows.

Sucks. I loved the Beasties back around 7th grade. Had the poster up in my bedroom.
This was my jam.

NEVER FORGET that the Beasties produced, inarguably, the best video of all time.

RIP MCA.
