I actually beat this a few nights ago. For as devoid of gameplay as it is, I expected the QTEs to be more insane more often. It was a great looking game, and it had a decent anime story, but it's hard to get into a game where most of the time you are just hitting button prompts as they pop up on the screen. There is regular combat and over the shoulder shooting sequences, so you do get direct control of your character from time to time, but it's still extremely basic. I think the worst bit is that it ends on a cliffhanger and immediately directs you to some DLC to see the final chapter. I'm not paying another 10 bucks on a game that's already massively overpriced. Fuck. That.
Has this hit bomba prices yet? If I didn't get this from work for cheap, I would have been pretty annoyed with this game.
Oh and I played a bit more of El Shaddai. Yeah, that's getting traded in. What a turd. I have too many games in my backlog to waste my time with shit like that.
