Hey Frank, or any of you guys, you should read this book.

http://www.amazon.com/New-First-Three-Years-Life/dp/0684804190

I know you missed the boat on your 4 year old but it will still help you understand why he's the way he is and how to avoid having your daughter turn out the same way. It has a lot of really good information on child development.

6 Days until the due date. The wife is ready for this baby to come out. She's over this whole pregnancy thing. hahaha
She's been getting some weird feelings lately, I keep thinking its gonna be "go time" but NOPE.
Tuesday night she couldn't sleep because there was a lot of movement and pains going on. My cousin just had her baby a month ago and the same thing happened to her the night before she went into labor. So I was thinking it would be perfect on the day off yesterday but NOPE!

But any day now....

I'm probably totally wrong and she's going to be like 2 weeks late. That would be a bogey. 11 days no booze so far. haha

Nope!
Today is the due date and no signs of baby time. Being a real pain in the ass already.

Wife went to the doctor today and she's still not dilated so she goes back Monday to get some tests and decide on a date when they will induce her.
The doc said this doesn't mean it won't happen this weekend. Anything is possible but they have to start planning in case it doesn't. Especially since now they're back to saying her leg pain is her sciatic nerve and it should completely go away after she gives birth. She tried her hardest to just get them to do it now but they said she has to give it a little more time. And they don't induce on the weekends.

It'll be a lot less exciting if its scheduled in advance. I was hoping for that crazy phone call or just water breaking while we're sitting around. haha
At least it will be much more organized if its scheduled. I do like to have things prepared ahead of time.

Get her a copy of 50 Shades of Grey. That'll get her going.

It's more of the oxytocine that causes labor. Maybe she's just too uncomfortable to generate any. I don't know what else you can do, drink lots water? I know walking helps but apparently she's in too much pain.

Yeah it takes her like 5 minutes just to get out of bed. And probably 10 minutes to walk from the front door to the car.
She doesn't sit at home all day though. I think she's gone out almost every day and went swimming a few times. She's trying to walk but its tough.
She drinks a lot of water. She's tried everything. Just not happening. We now just assume its going to have to be a planned thing.

Nothing. She goes to the doctor tomorrow morning for some kind of test and then they discuss when they'll induce her.

Maybe today they'll just be like "Okay this sucker is coming out."
