Quantum Conundrum. Hmmm. I really liked the puzzle mechanics. Cycling through the different dimensions was really interesting. The puzzles themselves were fun too. Clever and most of the time very satisfying to execute. Using slow-mo and reverse gravity to surf on furniture was always a fun time. I liked the look of the game, the way changing dimensions thematically altered the enviroment got a chuckle out of me a few times, especially how the paintings would change. The story and music really fell flat though. I didn't care why I was figuring out these puzzles, and your uncle is a real dick for someone who desperately needs your help. The song that plays over the credits made me want to throw my computer out of the window. awful. Also, don't click that "do a thing" button on the main screen. Pure nightmare fuel.
I also beat Theatrhythm a few days ago. It's a rhythm game, so beating it doesn't really mean shit, I still have a bunch of stuff to do, and lots of characters to max out and songs to unlock. Still, I got credits, so it's going on the list. I'd say if you are a big Final Fantasy and rhythm game fan, you need to get this game. If you are lukewarm on either of those, I'd say give it a look, but don't expect it to take over your life. As a rhythm game, it has a pretty low difficulty ceiling, and the music probably won't do much for you if you don't have fuzzy memories of playing Final Fantasy games. It's super niche.
