The holiday game rush is upon us. This year the PS2 will have it's final huge year, the 360 comes out, and the DS goes online. There are all sorts of things coming out, so what does everyone plan on getting?

For me? Well personally, I'm glad Zelda got pushed back. I think when it comes out in March I'll be able to give it the attention it deserves. I've already bought my most wanted games, both Castlevania and Shadow of the Colossus. I also picked up We Love Katamari. I know for a fact I'm going to end up buying Mario Kart and Animal Crossing, most likely Animal Crossing first, Mario Kart may need to wait.

Aside from those, I'm not interested in the next gen stuff yet, so I'm mainly a PS2 guy this year. Sould Caliber 3 looks hot, and Castlevania should be a good time. Since my PC blows, I'll probably end up picking up Half Life 2 for the Xbox, depending on how the reviews are for it. On the Gamecube front, I'm really interested in Battalion Wars, and I'll likely get Prince of Persia 3 for it to finish the collection.

Don't know if I'll get all those, but it's the wishlist for right now.

What is up Phil! It'sBob finally posting and I kind of forget what the topic was about or what games you mentioned cause I am bombed out of my skull! Captain M SPARKS and Yuengling Traditional Lager are controlling my brainwaves. But man I must say. The next gen systems altogether aren't too impressive man!.. I mean when xbox and PS2 came out with gamecube, you look at these games and said HOLY SHIT. I mean the game could have been about marbles and looseleaf but you didn't care! You loved the feel and the excitement of the "NEW SYSTEM!" Graphics, sound, whatever... It was GREAT! I saw demos and I saw the E3 of the NEXT GENERS.... and all it really looks like it's just really good games made for the systems that are already out! Well I did have the conclusion of this post but i forgot what it was cause my roomate was talking to me about something calls salsberry hill? what the hell is that?! and i forgot what I was talking about and how to ty pe! but you mknow what that means right!? It's time for another drink!! man! I just heard an awesome joke on tv! some dude told this girl " YOU'RE SO FLAT THE WALL ARE JEALOUS!!!" WELL that"s the WAY THINGS GO. AND I ACCIDENTALLY HIT CAPSLOCK AND HAVE TRIED TO FIX IT BUT FAILED.. SO ROCK AND ROLL EVERYBODY. HOOOOAH! YEAH!

Bob finally shows up and he leaves a drunk message that makes absolutely no sense.

And Tu, you'll buy video games. You just said to me around 2 months ago if you should get an Xbox 360. You'll end up buying Zelda, that is a given, and I'm sure you'll want something else down the line.

Hello again everyone. Sorry about that post. Was havin' a little too much fun.:) What's everyone's game now? Everyone at my place busted out Fable again. The consensus is pretty much "Man this game is awesome! If only they (place a million different things here) it would have been great..." I mean what's the deal? They only had, what, 5 years to develop that game.. Oh, yeah. And we tanked through X-Men Legends II in about a week. Game was too easy. I thought it was pretty cool but I hated thinking this for both this game and the first, "Awesome! X-Men! This game rocks! Why the hell have I been killing oversized bugs for the first 5 stages? This wasn't in the cartoon!" But whatever.. Anyone play The Warriors yet? Or know of any really good multiplayer games? Doesn't matter if they're new. Rock on!

I completely forgot about Gunstar Super Heroes, which is the follow up to the cult Genesis game Gunstar Heroes, for the Gameboy Advance. I haven't read any reviews on it, but I image that it kicks ass. I played the original briefly a few years back and thought it was really solid.

I'm also curious about SSX On Tour, I skipped out on SSX3, so maybe it's time to jump back into the series. The original SSX was the only reason worth playing the PS2 until MGS2 came out, and SSX Tricky was even cooler.

What was your top scores? I think that game was really easy to get good at. Maybe I just don't know the secret tricks?

So we just got through the insane gaming holiday season. What are your gaming plans over the next few months? What are you buying and what are you playing?

Being that I can't spend much moolah, I won't be buying much. I have credit to use so I can buy No More Heroes when it comes out in the next few weeks. I also still have the gift card I got from Galaxy, so I'll put that towards Brawl. After that, no idea what I want in the future aside from MGS4.

I still have a bunch of stuff I'm playing. I just start Uncharted, I'm still enjoying Contra, and I'm halfway done with Orange Box. I could also see myself going back to Phantom Hourglass soon. So there is plenty to keep me busy.

On the Horizon:
No More Heroes
WipeOut Pulse

Recently Purchased:
WipeOut Pure (PSP - $4.99 used @ Gamestop)
Final Fantasy 5 & 6 (PSOne - $10 new on ebay)

I'm still playing Assassin's Creed, that's probably the one game I want to finish. Up next is Metroid Prime, I stopped at a fairly early point in the game so that I could get back into it easily. I really need to jump back in and finish MGS: Portable Ops.

I still play SMG every night after dinner with my daughter, but usually only for 15 minutes or so.

You know I'd love to add Burnout Paradise to my list, but I'm gonna pass, even though I love it. I've been meaning to ask you Sol, it seemed like you didn't dig Burnout too much. You came online that one time, we smashed up a bit, and then that was that. Not a fan?

74 I believe... it's a slow process. We get a star and then she's had enough.

I just don't really enjoy driving games in general. It seemed pretty cool, but overall not my cup of tea. I tend to like racers along the lines of Mario Kart, WipeOut and Motorstorm.
